Men’s Formation
The pillar of prayer focuses on developing a consistent and meaningful relationship with God. Through guidance on personal prayer, Scripture, and the sacramental life, men learn to integrate moments of reflection and spiritual attentiveness into their daily routines. The aim is not only to teach techniques, but to foster a deeper awareness of God’s presence and to build habits that sustain long-term spiritual growth.
The third pillar, brotherhood, highlights the essential role of community in spiritual growth. Men are invited to build authentic relationships through shared discussion, mutual encouragement and honest accountability. This sense of fraternity provides a place where men can support one another, share struggles and celebrate progress, fostering a community that strengthens each member’s journey of faith.
The final pillar, mission, calls men to live their faith actively and intentionally in the wider world. It encourages them to serve within their families, workplaces and parishes, and to witness to the Gospel through acts of charity, leadership and evangelisation. Mission helps participants understand that their formation is not merely for personal benefit, but for the good of others and the life of the Church.
To support these pillars, Annunciation Press offers a range of programmes suitable for parishes, small groups and established men’s ministries. These resources include group study series, leader guides, participant workbooks and retreat materials, all designed to be adaptable to different settings and levels of experience. Whether a community is launching a new initiative or enhancing an existing group, the formation offerings provide a well-built structure that encourages ongoing growth. Through these programmes, men are equipped to deepen their faith, strengthen their character and live out their mission with renewed conviction.
